A day

The word “a day” (yewm/Yaum) is used 365 times in the Quran. The figure 365 does not only represent the number of days in the calendar, but it is also the figure that shows the astronomical relationship between our world and the sun.

When our world completes its turn around the sun, it has revolved 365 times around its own axis. In other words, when the world has completed its cycle around the sun, this means we have lived 365 days on earth.

It is important that the word “a day” is used 365 times in the Quran, because the world’s revolution around the sun takes 365 days.

The Science behind..

Our Fingerprints!

"Does man think that We cannot assemble his bones? (3) Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order to the very tips of his fingers (4)"

-Surah Al-Qiyamah: verse 3-4

Unbelievers argue regarding resurrection taking place after bones of dead people have disintegrated in the Earth and how each individual will be identified on the Day of Judgement.

Allah answers that he can not only assemble our bones, but can also reconstruct perfectly our very fingertips.

But why Al-Quran specifically talk about out fingertips, while speaking about determination of identity of the individual?

In 1880, fingerprinting became the scientific method of identification, after research by Sir Francis Golt. And it is found no two person in this world can ever have exactly the same fingerprint pattern. That is why police forces worldwide have been using fingerprints to identify criminals for the past 1400 years.

Who could have known the uniqueness of each human's fingerprint? Surely it could have been none other than the Creator Himself! Subhanallah.

Cikgu tadika

A bit of malay. so, change2 ar.. haha!

quite funny but educational to us.=)

Murid-murid : nampak.
Amin : cikgu ada kan?
Murid-murid : ada.
Amin : Kawan-kawan nampak otak cikgu tak?
Murid-murid : tak nampak.
Amin : cikgu ada otak tak?
Murid-murid : tak ada.

Benefits of learning Tajweed

Reading the quran is part of our Muslim's life. Yes! Reading Quran is very important but reading without the tajweed can lead you to commit sins. So find a teacher whom he/she have mastered in these tajweed.

The benefits of learning Tajweed are many as reflected in some of the
following Ahadeeth:

The reciters of the Qur’an will be in the company of the noble and
obedient angels
‘Aa’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, relates that the Prophet
(SAW) said: “Verily the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully,
smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and
obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty,
stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE
that reward.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

You will be from the best of people
‘Uthmaan, may Allah be pleased with him, said that the Prophet
(SAW) said: “The best of you are the ones who learn the Qur’an and
teach it to others” [Al-Bukhari]

• There are ten rewards for each letter you recite from the Quran
“Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a
reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying
that “Alif, Laam, Meem” is a letter, rather I am saying that “Alif” is a
letter, “laam” is a letter and “meem” is a letter.” [Tirmidhi states this
is saheeh]

• The Qur’an will lead you to Paradise!
"The Qur’an is an intercessor, something given permission to
intercede, and it is rightfully believed in. Whoever puts it in front of
him, it will lead him to Paradise; whoever puts it behind him, it will
steer him to the Hellfire.” [An authentic hadith found in At-
Tabaraanee, on the authority of ‘Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood]

Handphone versus Quran

We found this interesting email. well, by reading it, lets reflect ourself. =)

Cell phone vs Quran

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Quran like we treat

our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several time a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Quran?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Quran being disconnected

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

From the book of knowledge(Kitab Al 'Ilm)

Jundub (i. e. Ibn 'Abdullah) reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Recite the Qur'an as long as your hearts agree to do so and when you find variance between them, then stand up.
